Dux Quest
These black plastic pipes with grey metal fittings were installed in many New Zealand houses during the 1970s and 1980s. By the 1990s, however, they became notorious for splitting and causing leaks and were discontinued.
To check if your house uses this redundant product, look for ‘Dux Quest’ or ‘Quest’ written in white lettering on some sections of black piping.
